Why DOMO over Power BI or Tableau?
DOMO is the strongest fit for mid-market forwarders we've worked with: faster to learn for non-technical leadership, built-in data warehouse if you don't already have one, and per-user pricing that scales cleanly. Tableau and Power BI are excellent tools — we will build on them if you have an existing investment.
Why Snowflake over Redshift or BigQuery?
Snowflake's separation of compute and storage is a real fit for forwarder workloads: high-volume batch ingestion during overnight loads, low-cost storage of historical shipment data, and the ability to spin up isolated compute for ad-hoc analysis without affecting production dashboards.
What if we already have a BI tool?
We will integrate with what you have. If you have Power BI, Tableau, or Looker already in production and people trained on it, the cost of changing usually outweighs the benefit. We will build the warehouse layer and connect your existing BI to it.
