Know what to automate before you build a thing
Most AI projects fail on task selection, data readiness, and measurement — not on the technology. This fixed-scope engagement de-risks the whole program: we map the jagged frontier of what to automate, audit your data, and hand you a sequenced, measurable roadmap. If you proceed to a build with us, the fee is credited toward it.
Moves: A prioritized, measurable roadmap
What we deliver
Workflow map (the jagged frontier)
We score your operational workflows on where AI is a force-multiplier today, where it is not yet, and where it would quietly create risk — so you automate the right tasks, not just the easy ones.
Data-readiness audit
The single biggest determinant of whether any of this pays off. We assess what data you have, where it lives, how clean it is, and what has to be true before an agent or dashboard can rely on it.
KPIs & sequenced roadmap
A prioritized plan that names the metric each phase will move — quote turnaround, margin visibility, after-hours capture — in the order that compounds: foundation, then visibility, then automation.
How the engagement runs
- 1
Week 1
Systems & workflow interviews
A structured pass through your operation with the people who actually do the work — ops, pricing, finance, leadership — to surface where time and margin leak today.
- 2
Week 2
Data & readiness assessment
We inventory your sources (Cargowise, rating systems, accounting, CRM), assess quality and accessibility, and flag what must be fixed before any intelligence runs on top.
- 3
Week 3
Roadmap readout
A working session plus a written roadmap: what to build, in what order, the KPI each phase moves, the rough investment — and what to deliberately not do.
Who this is for
- Forwarders who know they should "do AI" but are not sure where it actually pays off.
- Leaders burned by a tool purchase that never moved a number.
- Teams sitting on data they suspect is not clean enough to trust yet.
- Anyone who wants a defensible plan before committing budget to a build.
FAQ
Why start here instead of just building?
Because most AI spend is wasted on the wrong tasks, or on data that was not ready. A few weeks of diagnosis is the cheapest way to make sure the build money lands. If you already know exactly what you need, you can skip straight to a build service.
Is the fee wasted if we proceed to a build?
No — if you move forward with us on a build, the roadmap fee is credited toward it. The diagnostic exists to de-risk the engagement, not to be a separate profit center.
What do we walk away with if we do not hire you for the build?
A written, vendor-neutral roadmap you own: the workflow map, the data-readiness findings, the KPIs, and the sequence. You could hand it to an internal team or another firm. We think the roadmap sells the build on its own.
How is this different from the discovery phase of a build?
Discovery scopes a build you have already committed to. This decides whether — and what — to build in the first place, across your whole operation, with no obligation to proceed.
